Ducts & Accessories
HDPE ducts, microducts, indoor raceway and fittings that route and protect the network path.

In short
What are fiber ducts and raceways used for?
Ducts and raceways are the pathway a fiber cable runs through. Underground, HDPE ducts and microduct bundles protect cables and let new ones be pulled or blown in later. Indoors, fiber raceway carries cords and cables between racks without crushing or over-bending them. Accessories join, seal and mark the route.
Where it’s used
- Underground duct routes for backbone and FTTH
- Micro-trenching with direct-install microducts
- Building entry and riser pathways
- Overhead raceway in data rooms and exchanges
Buying advice
How to plan ducts and raceways.
- 01
Lay spare ducts while the trench is open
Civil work is most of the cost of an underground route. An extra duct or microduct bundle costs little to lay now and saves a second excavation later.
- 02
Seal every duct end
Open ducts let in water, sand and rodents, which damage existing cables and make blowing in new ones difficult.
- 03
Keep fiber off the power tray
Dedicated raceway keeps patch cords visible, protected and away from heavy copper and power cables.

What is a microduct?
A small-diameter duct, from a few millimetres to around 16 mm across, usually bundled with others inside a protective sheath. Each microduct takes one micro-cable, blown in with compressed air, so capacity can be added one cable at a time as demand grows.
Why use fiber raceway instead of cable tray?
Raceway is designed for fiber. Its smooth, rounded fittings keep cords above their minimum bend radius, and it stops heavy cables from being piled on top of delicate patch cords.
